Abstract

The present work deals with the redefinition of the maritime border that may have a background of changing limits due to the rise in sea level or due to the interest of economic exploitation of a certain marine area. This Brazilian strategy has the perspective of economic growth from the reduction of natural resources in a context of economic crisis and increase in the world population and consequently its demands. Therefore, tensions and wars will be aimed at taking advantage of natural resources and financial resources, see the problem of oil and gas production, wheat, etc., in the war in Ukraine in the middle of the year 2023, etc. The reaction mechanisms for the climate crisis are the climate actions (SDG 2030) that are usually done through natural repair that are done through ecological restoration, ecological compensation and finally pecuniary compensation. These repair values can be obtained through bank guarantees on first demand, which would place the creditor in a more protected position in the face of abnormally dangerous activity or that causes significant environmental impacts. On the other hand, Brazil under the terms of the Law of the Sea can plead with the competent international organization on maritime territory, in addition to the blue Amazon, also the redefinitions of maritime borders in the face of the climate crisis. Therefore, many issues remain to be resolved.
