The present study was carried out through the reading of articles from different sources dealing with situation in the Amazon Rainforest. Consulting data issued by public and international agencies, by academic studies and by military reviews, it is possible to verify situations that are sometimes identical but from a different perspective. It is intended to expose a history of occupation and a brief perspective of the Brazilian border in the Amazon region, so that, in the end, it is feasible to carry out general considerations and possible notes to improve management in the Brazilian portion. The Amazon rainforest fills a large part of the Brazilian states and some facts remain in the public debate, such as deforestation and government proposals for local management. It will be possible to list the main projects launched to occupy, protect and encourage the development of the Amazon as a whole, so that the results obtained are also verified.
