This initiative materializes a strategic project of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, which seeks to intensify and strengthen the integration between security agents public, in the fight against national and transnational organized crime. In this sense, the CIOF has the challenge of becoming, really, an effective tool for strengthening interagency operations in the Triple Border. This work sought to identify the results of the implementation of the CIOF, verifying opportunities for improvement. For that, a bibliographic review and analysis of the relevant legislation were carried out. Finally, it was verified that the creation of the CIOF generated positive reflexes for the integration of the agencies, however, it appears that there are still actions to be carried out, in order to consolidate it and guarantee the increase of efficiency and effectiveness in the fight against cross-border crimes .
