TRAJETÓRIA E HORIZONTES

Abstract

In 2022, Monções - UFGD's International Relations Magazine celebrated ten years of existence. The research question is: How did the process of construction and consolidation of Monções Magazine take place? This article aims to: (i) report on the construction process of Monções Magazine, its achievements, and challenges, in the time frame from 2012 to 2020; and (ii) present the profile of authors and articles published in the period in question. For that, the inductive method was used. Data and documents obtained from the journal's management system and website were analyzed and the following main variables were examined: (i) authors' titles; (ii) gender; (iii) institutional affiliation of authors; (iv) the regions of the authors' institutions. A selected bibliographic review was also carried out.
