Abstract

This paper addressed the challenges faced in addressing and solving minor crimes in border areas. The research revealed that these crimes are affected by several factors, such as geographical extension, cultural and legal diversity, lack of adequate resources, corruption, lack of community awareness and engagement, lack of advanced technology, multidisciplinary approach, training of security agents, and legislation. The geographical extension of border areas makes effective surveillance and patrolling difficult, making fighting crime a complex challenge. The cultural and legal diversity among neighboring countries hinders cooperation and the exchange of information, requiring adapted strategies and joint work among the authorities. The lack of adequate resources, including equipment, vehicles, technology, and qualified personnel, compromises the ability of security authorities to effectively combat these crimes. Corruption in border areas also represents a significant obstacle to effectively addressing crime. Community awareness and engagement is crucial to strengthening security in these regions. The lack of advanced technology hinders the identification and prosecution of crimes. A multidisciplinary approach, training of security officers, and appropriate legislation are essential for a more effective response. In conclusion, to face the challenges of petty crimes in border areas, it is necessary to invest in adequate resources, strengthen cooperation among neighboring countries, fight corruption, promote community awareness, and implement advanced technologies. In addition, a multidisciplinary approach, the training of security agents, and appropriate legislation play a key role. Only with joint efforts and a comprehensive vision will it be possible to effectively address these challenges and promote security in these border regions.
