The present work, entitled TRIPLE BORDER (BRAZIL, COLOMBIA AND PERU): IMPLEMENTATION OF A FEDERAL ROAD POLICE UNIT AND CREATION OF THE ALTO SOLIMÕES TASK FORCE, is an interdisciplinary research, using a deductive method, which aims to demonstrate a need for the implementation of a Unit of the Federal Highway Police on the Triple Border (Brazil, Colombia and Peru) and creation of the Alto Solimões Task Force. Furthermore, it exposes the Holistic Understanding of the Triple Border (Brazil, Colombia and Peru). An attempt will be made to describe the peculiar characteristics of the region, which is essential to understand the complex phenomenon of the main drug trafficking route in Brazil; Organized Crime in the Triple Border (Brazil, Colombia and Peru), namely: The Diffusion of Organized Crime and Criminal Factions in the region; and Dynamics of Drug Trafficking; Also present how the various security, defense and justice institutions, which operate in the region at both state and federal levels, are important actors in the fight against drug trafficking in the region. Furthermore, a proposal will be presented for the implementation of a Federal Highway Police Unit in the region, and finally the creation of the Alto Solimões Task Force.
